Over the past couple weeks, I hope you have read about IMAC’s What and Why in this space. (If not, go back and check it out when you are done here!) Those are big pieces of the IMAC model and recipe for success, but the secret sauce so to speak, the glue, the engine that makes it all possible are our amazing people. That’s the WHO, and what I want to talk about today.
No business, clinic or treatment is much good to you or anybody if it is not backed by excellent customer service provided by great people. From the first day I opened my first clinic that has now grown into IMAC’s 16 clinics across five states, my firm belief has always been that people are the key, they make it go. You are only as good as your people.
With that in mind, I want to introduce you to four people from across our professional ranks that represent the IMAC team and what it means to us to have you walk through our doors. We do not and will not ever take your trust lightly. Here we go …
- Ricardo Knight MD – Dr. Knight has more than 30 years of experience in rehabilitation medicine and his specialty is in physiatry, a branch of medicine that aims to restore physical ability to people with impairments. He serves as the company’s lead clinical investigator for our FDA approved clinical trials for the treatment of bradykinesia, the gradual loss and slowing down of spontaneous body movement, due to Parkinson’s disease. Dr. Knight joined IMAC in January 2020.
- Jessica Cho DC – Dr. Jess is a chiropractor at IMAC Regeneration Centers in metro Chicago, and she believes that true health stems from the inside. If your nervous system is functioning at its best, so too will the rest of your body. Her interest in chiropractic medicine began after being diagnosed with scoliosis as a child. “Why not stop a condition before it has a chance to develop?”
- Brett Koehn PT – After getting his associate’s and bachelor’s degrees in Kansas and Oklahoma respectively, Brett headed down under and was trained as a ‘physio’ in Australia, where he received a Master’s of Physiotherapy. For those unfamiliar with Australia, physios are highly respected and in demand. Brett works as one of the physical therapists at the David Price IMAC Regeneration Center in Brentwood, Tenn.
- Laura Clark NP – “My goal is to provide every patient with the kind of care that I would want for my own family.” As a nurse practitioner at the Ozzie Smith Centers in the Springfield, Mo., area, Laura truly does offer that to every patient. She cares. And with her extensive experience and background in orthopedic settings, Laura has seen first-hand how the healing process at IMAC has proven time and again the better option to get people back to full function.
These fine folks are just a small slice of the terrific team we have built at IMAC. It is very hard for me to not tell you more, but you don’t want to read a book here today. Trust me … we have a great team who will build a plan to help you (or a loved one) find solutions to any movement challenges you may be facing.
Give us a call and set up a consultation. Come meet some of the amazing people we have; they would love to talk with you and get to know you. But most of all, offer help and give you hope.
Thanks for reading.
Dr. Matt
