NASHVILLE – David Price’s efforts to give back to his hometown soon will include a facility aimed to help others get back to peak health.
The David Price IMAC Regeneration Center is scheduled to open next month in Murfreesboro, according to a Business Wire release Wednesday.
“I’m very excited about the opening of the David Price IMAC Regeneration Center,” the former Vanderbilt star and current Boston Red Sox pitcher said. “Regenerative procedures are done often by Major League Baseball teams and I’ve seen several teammates have success with it during my years of playing. I look forward to hearing more success stories from people visiting the new center in Murfreesboro.”
Price is the second notable Major League player to put his name on one of the facilities. IMAC facilities in Chesterfield and St. Peters, Missouri, bear the name of Hall of Fame shortstop Ozzie Smith.
IMAC also operates clinics in Paducah and Murray, Kentucky. The centers are outpatient facilities “that focus on non-surgical treatments and non-prescription therapies to address health conditions that impact daily movement and physical conditions … [and] offer an alternative to joint replacement and spinal surgery while also treating a variety of neurological conditions.”
“We have treated patients from Nashville for years so bringing our innovative treatments to Tennessee with David Price is another winning combination,” IMAC Regeneration Center founder Matt Wallis said.
Dr. David Smithson will lead the Murfreesboro venture, which will open Feb. 20 at 205 N. Thompson Lane.
